SFISD Students Recognized at the April 2021 School Board Meeting

SANTA FE JUNIOR HIGH RECOGNIZED THEIR ROBOTICS TEAMS.  THEY HOSTED THEIR SECOND REGIONAL TOURNAMENT ON SATURDAY, MARCH 27TH. THEY HAD 6 TEAMS COMPETING IN THE TOURNAMENT WITH 3 RECEIVING INVITATIONS TO THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.  

SANTA FE HIGH SCHOOL RECOGNIZED THE TRIBAL BELLES. THE TRIBAL BELLES ATTENDED SHOWMAKERS OF AMERICA VIRTUAL DANCE COMPETITION ON FEBRUARY 13TH, AND WON MULTIPLE AWARDS IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT CATEGORIES.

SANTA FE JUNIOR HIGH RECOGNIZED COLTON PAYNE. COLTON PAYNE TESTED NATIONALLY AGAINST JUNIORS AND SENIORS ON THE ACT, SCORING A COMPOSITE SCORE OF 99.9% BOTH FOR THE STATE OF TEXAS AND NATIONALLY AS A SEVENTH-GRADE STUDENT.

THE DISTRICT RECOGNIZED OUR STUDENT AND STAFF SPOTLIGHTS FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL.  FROM BARNETT, 2ND GRADER, MAX CRABLE (PICTURED BELOW) IS OUR ELEMENTARY SPOTLIGHT STUDENT.  FROM SANTA FE HIGH SCHOOL, 9TH GRADER, LORENZO LERMA HERNANDEZ IS OUR SECONDARY SPOTLIGHT STUDENT. FROM RJ WOLLAM, 4TH GRADE TEACHER, TRACY KUBICKI IS OUR SPOTLIGHT STAFF MEMBER.
