2019-2020 VFW Patriot's Pen Scholarship Essay Finalist
Brianna Finkler won 1st place local and 1st place regional for the 2019-2020 VFW Patriot's Pen Scholarship Essay. She is an 8th grade AVID student and her essay now moves on as a state finalist. Good luck, Brianna!

Congratulations to Laura Herod, Region 17 JH Choir Finalist
Congratulations to Laura Herod for placing 7th chair in the Region 17 JH High Choir. According to Mr. Tietge (high school choir director), he believes this is the first time a SFJH student has made the Region choir in over 10+ years.
