Parent Engagement Compacts
School-parent compacts are developed in partnership with families, students, and school staff to support student success. These agreements outline how each group will share responsibility for improving academic achievement and strengthening communication. While each campus tailors its compact to meet its unique goals and needs, all compacts reflect a shared commitment to collaboration, high expectations, and a positive school environment that supports every student.

Purpose
Each school in Santa Fe ISD works collaboratively with parents to develop a school-parent compact. This compact outlines how parents, school staff, and students share responsibility for improving academic achievement. It also describes how schools and families will build partnerships to help students achieve high academic standards set by the State.
Academic Focus
Focus One
Santa Fe High School is improving instructional practices by participating in weekly Professional Learning Communities.
Focus Two
We are working together to answer five critical questions to improve student outcomes:
- What do students need to learn?
- How will instruction be delivered?
- How will we know students have learned it?
- What will we do if students have not learned it?
- What will we do if students have already mastered the material?
Focus Three
All students have the opportunity to attend campus-wide tutorials on Wednesdays after school. Academic support will take priority over UIL and extracurricular activities until tutorials are completed.
