Welcome to the Ruth Young Chapter of the National Honor Society
Chapter Adviser: Amy Hoff
Phone: 409-927-3100 ext. 3253
We are currently waiting on the district to release GPAs for the spring 2020 semester. These are the GPAs used to determine NHS invitations for current 10th, 11th and 12th graders. (Please see "Selection Requirements" below.) Our formal Induction Ceremony is on-hold until we receive GPAs and are able to invite new members. Thank you for your patience!
The health and safety of our students is our number one priority. Therefore, service hours for the fall semester have been reduced to 10 hours. Officers are working to create a document with virtual options to help students fulfill this requirement. Members are highly encouraged to keep a personal record of any community service performed for college applications and scholarship purposes.
