    Bus Safety 2017

National School Bus Safety week is a public education program designed to promote bus safety. Oct. 16-20, 2017 is designated as “Stop on Red’ SFISD Bus Safety week to heighten awareness and acknowledge our transportation department and bus safety. Our transportation department operates 34 buses over 142 routes daily, traveling over 500,000 miles annually. With the safety of our students as a first priority, our 54 drivers, attendants, mechanics and management staff work to maintain an excellent safety record, delivering our students safely to and from school. Please recognize and extend a very special thank you to our dedicated men and women who not only safely drive our students to and from school and events, but also work to ensure our buses and vehicles are in top working order! Thank You!!
