The Santa Fe ISD Transportation Department is committed to providing safe, efficient, and courteous transportation that supports the district’s educational mission. Serving approximately 2,300 students daily across 72 square miles of western Galveston County, our team operates 32 routes and maintains a fleet of 51 school buses and 31 auxiliary vehicles.

In addition to daily student transport, we support numerous extracurricular activities, athletic events, and after-school programs. Last year alone, our buses traveled over 495,000 miles in service to our students.

We continuously seek innovative ways to enhance safety and efficiency through technology and operational improvements. By fostering strong relationships with families and the community through communication and collaboration, we aim to deliver a transportation experience built on trust, reliability, and shared responsibility.

"Transporting tomorrow's future - today!"

Thank you for entrusting us with the vital role of transporting your children safely to and from school each day.
