Career and Technical Education

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) department in Santa Fe I.S.D. offers programs dedicated to preparing young people to graduate prepared and certified for entry-level positions in high-skilled, high-wage jobs while they continue their education at two- and four-year colleges.

We are dedicated to continually improving our career programs by keeping abreast of current trends in local, regional and global business and industry.  It is through the involvement and teamwork among members of the Santa Fe Independent School District (SFISD) family, parents, and our business and post-secondary partners that we are able to provide relevant "real world" experience coupled with high academic standards to prepare students for future success.

Career and Technical Education is a great way for students to prepare for the highly technological and competitive workplace of the 21st century. Santa Fe ISD offers programs of study in 12 career clusters.  For information about which Programs of Study SFISD offers, please view the Programs of Study tab below.

Information about all CTE courses, including course descriptions, can be found in the Santa Fe High School Educational Planning Guide (COMING SOON).  Click HERE to download the most recent list of occupations targeted by the Gulf Coast Workforce Development Board.
