Career and Technical Education

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) department at Santa Fe I.S.D. provides programs aimed at equipping young individuals to graduate ready and certified for entry-level roles in well-paid, skilled jobs as they pursue further education at two- and four-year colleges.
We are committed to enhancing our career programs by staying up-to-date with the latest trends in local, regional, and global business and industry. Through collaboration and teamwork among the Santa Fe Independent School District (SFISD) family, parents, and our business and post-secondary partners, we offer practical "real-world" experiences alongside rigorous academic standards to equip students for future achievements.

Career and Technical Education is a great way for students to prepare for the highly technological and competitive workplace of the 21st century. Santa Fe ISD offers programs of study in 11 career clusters.  For information about which Programs of Study SFISD offers, please view the Programs of Study tab below.

Information about all CTE courses, including course descriptions, can be found in the Santa Fe High School Educational Planning Guide or by clicking on the CTE Icons below.
