RediMD
RediMD offers convenient online doctor visits when you can't get to a doctor's office or when your regular physician isn't available. Through a webcam appointment, you can consult with a healthcare provider who can diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, and prescribe medication when appropriate. Services are available at the workplace clinic workstation during work hours or from home for employees and their families.
RediMD is provided to all SFISD employees at no cost. Your family members may also use this benefit for no copay. RediMD is available for your dependents to use at home.
Each dependent must register separately. SFISD CODE IS "santafeisd".

First-Time Users
Step 1: Register
- Go to www.redimd.com.
- Select Register.
- Choose Register or First Time User.
- Enter the code santafeisd and select Next.
- Follow the registration instructions.
- Enter your email address and create a password.
- Complete all profile and registration information.
Registration is a one-time process and does not require scheduling an appointment.
Step 2: Schedule an Appointment
- Select Make Appointment.
- Choose a provider.
- Select a date and time.
- Family members should pay any required copay.
Step 3: Consult with a Provider
- Take and enter any required vital signs.
- Meet with your provider online.
Returning Users
Step 1: Log In
- Visit www.redimd.com.
- Log in using your email address and password.
Step 2: Schedule an Appointment
- Select Make Appointment.
- Choose a provider.
- Select a date and time.
- Family members should pay any required copay.
Step 3: Consult with a Provider
- Take and enter any required vital signs.
- Meet with your provider online.

What to Do When Injured On-the-Job
Procedures for Injured Employee
- An employee injured on the job must report such injury to his/her immediate supervisor when the injury occurs. **Do not hesitate to call 911 for emergency assistance**
- If medical treatment is needed, select a physician who accepts Worker’s Compensation. There is a list of local providers in this packet. If you choose not to be seen by a physician who accepts Worker’s Compensation, you will be responsible for any charges that may occur.
- Complete, sign, & return the forms listed below to the person you are reporting injury to: Employee Statement and Employee Elect/Leave Benefits
- It is the responsibility of the injured employee to call his/her supervisor after each doctor appointment and to report work status. Within one working day of each health care provider appointment, the injured employee must provide proof (DWC 73) of the office visit to supervisor and SFISD Benefit Office.
- Submit your medical release note from doctor to your supervisor and Benefit Office.

What to Do When an Employee Is Injured On the Job
An employee must report any work-related injury to the campus nurse or their supervisor by the end of the workday. The school or department must report all work-related injuries and illnesses to the SFISD Benefits Office at (409) 925-9024 within 24 hours.
All injuries and illnesses must be reported, even if medical treatment is not needed.
Emergency Situations
Call 911 immediately for emergency assistance when necessary.
Supervisor Procedures

Complete the Employer's First Report of Injury or Illness form.

The employee should not complete this form.

Complete Boxes 1–28 and Box 39.

Sign and date Box 52.

- If the employee is able, have them complete the Employee Statement form.

If a witness is available, have them complete the Witness Statement form.

Complete the First Fill Information form.
- Keep a copy for your records.
- Provide the original to the employee.

If the employee is able, have them complete the Employee Election/Leave Benefit form.

Provide the employee with:
- A copy of the First Report of Injury.
- A copy of the WellNow Health Employer's Authorization for Examination or Treatment form if medical treatment is needed.
- The completed First Fill Information form.

Forward all future work-status reports and related documentation to the Benefits Office.
Submission Instructions
- Scan all completed forms and email them to: taylor.lunsford@sfisd.org
- Keep copies for your records.
- Send original documents through interoffice mail.
