Nestled within the heart of Santa Fe, Texas, a treasure trove of local history comes to life at the Old School Museum. This institution is a collaborative effort between the Santa Fe Area Historical Foundation, a 501c# non-profit organization and Santa Fe ISD, offering a captivating journey through the past for both residents and visitors.

Housed within the walls of a former school building, The Old School Museum stands as a testament to the community's dedication to preserving its heritage. The museum is a dynamic project that encapsulates the essence of Santa Fe's history, featuring artifacts and information that highlight both the city's evolution and the school district's contributions.

Locals and visitors alike are invited to explore the museum's treasures during its opening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The museum's doors swing open, offering free admission to anyone eager to delve into the city's rich history. SFISD Teachers are encouraged to seize the opportunity to engage their students in a hands-on exploration of history.
