IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Service hour requirements for the fall semester is 15 hours. Members are highly encouraged to keep a personal record of any community service performed for college applications and scholarship purposes.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
1. Students in 10th-12th grade are eligible
2. Students must have a 3.7 weighted GPA or higher
3. Students must be active in at least one (if not more) extracurricular activity
4. Students must be enrolled in and have passed one or more Pre-AP/AP/Dual Credit courses
5. Students must have already completed 10-15 hours of community service
*Eligibility will be determined in early-mid September. Students who meet these eligibility requirements will be invited to pick up a candidate packet in mid-September (exact date TBA).
NHS YEARLY CALENDAR AND INFORMATION
Sept. - 1st meeting of the year for current members (TBA)
Sept. - Blood Drive #1 (Sept. 28, 2021)
Oct. - 2nd meeting of the year

Nov. - Induction Ceremony (further details TBA - all members - current AND new must attend!)
Dec. - Fall Hours Due (15)
Jan. - 3rd meeting of the year for all members (TBA)
Jan. - Blood Drive #2 (TBA)

Mar. - 4th meeting of the year (pick up officer & scholarship applications)
Apr. - 5th meeting of the year (annouce officers)
Apr./May - Blood Drive #3 (TBA)
May - Spring Hours Due (15)
May - Academic Awards Night - all graduating NHS seniors will receive their collars (TBA)
