RECOGNITIONS

- Kubacak student Alexander McClintock for his heroic efforts in saving his little brother from choking, by performing the Heimlich Maneuver. The District, family, principal and teachers are all proud of Alexander's quick thinking actions.
- Texas Renaissance Festival
Jr. High students participated for the first time performing classical theatre scenes. Under the direction of teacher's Lisa Marie Daughtery and Andrea Newport, these students won 3rd Place Overall

Sound Tech - Caitlyn McGilberry, Kyleigh McGilberry, Audrey Auzston, Cameron Bloomfield
High School students also participated in the Texas Renaissance Festival Theatre Competition and placed Third out of 23 schools, under the direction of teacher Mr. Peter Kinser.
Performers: Madeline Ruivivar, Lewis Gilbert, Tabitha Wallace, Madi Grossman, Lynox Cloud, Megan Tracy, Chris Basser and Haley Rae Tucker.
Art competition winners were: Katrina Holtz and Faith Earley - Teacher's are Karrie Huskey and Karen Allen
- Laura Timmons and Lindsay Jarrell (Counselor Interns) at Kubacak Elementary teamed up with Pastor Brad Drake and Youth Pastor John Humphries of Dayspring Church in Santa Fe to hand out 150 pairs of shoes to our students. Students were treated to a fun-filled day with free haircuts, popcorn, snow-cones and games.
