    BOARD HIGHLIGHTS

     

    RECOGNITIONS

     

    The Board recognizes students and staff each month at the regularly scheduled board meeting.  The following were recognized at the November meeting. 

     

    Kubacak Elementary - recognized their Tribe students.  Through this program, students learn the value and importance of being trustworthy, respectful, independent, being my best and empathetic.  Third Grade: Vincent Brown, Leo Cuello, Gracie Rambin, Landyn Smith, Reid Ostermayer, Brianna

    Jr. High - recognized theatre cast members from Seussical Jr. -  Cameron Redwine, Lydia Swartz, Azia Miranda, Jenna Arthur, Madisen Devries, Jase O’Brien and Kyleigh McGilberry.

    Jr. High - also recognized their band members who placed in District and the Region.  They are: Shoei Ruckman – District Band and Maleiha Alvarado – Region Band.

    Jr. High -  recognized their SFJH Pride Students.  These are students for the first nine weeks that showed preparation, responsibility, integrity, determination and effort – Dane Gramz, Trinity Clark, Ashton Luedecke, Sydney Allen, Dalton Spriggs, Riley Tacquard, Regan Brantley, Bryce Burnym and Brook Hillman.

     

    H.S. - recognized their Choir students.  8 SFHS Choir students participated in All-Region competition at CCISD.  The following students advanced:  Kelsey Perkins, Mackenzie Brown and Cameron Louvier.  These students will compete at Pre-Area Competition on December 6th at Pearland HS.

    H.S. - Art students placed at the Heritage Festival are: Faith Earley (1st Place), Erica Werner (2nd Place) and Darryl Santell (5th Place).  Art students also placed at the Renaissance Festival were: Raven Gordon (2nd Place), Melissa Kelly (3rd Place).

    H.S. -  recognized our Regional Semi-Finalist Santa Fe Lady Indian Volleyball Team (28-16).  They are: Adrienne Courteau – Academic All District, Tori Smith, Madison Ogden- 1st Team All District and Academic All District, Koral Rose, Keegan Nelms – 23 5A Most Valuable Player and Academic All District, Jordan Jewell- 1st Team All District and Academic All District, Cayla Hockenbury- 1st Team All District and Academic All District, Peyton Kadlecek – Academic All District, Arynn Cross, Kellie Dudley- 2nd Team All District and Academic All District, Darrin Riddle, Rebecca Rubio-Student Trainer, Josh Murello-Student Trainer.  Staff Trainers: Stuart Jackson and Keilea Bullard.  Coaches: Head Coach-Anna Marie Milligan; Asst. Varsity-Jennifer Webb; JV-Lindsey Turner and Freshman-Amanda Affolter.
