    BOARD HIGHLIGHTS

     

    RECOGNITION

     

    Santa Fe High School recognized the Academic Decathlon Team and their Coach, Ms. Woodall.  Gianna Bradley, Isabella Boettcher, Elias Venetoulias, Preslie Gibson and Coralyn Shirey, with highest B-Honor Roll score in our school.  Colton Payne, 1st place in Speech in individual medals for the entire region, 3rd place in Math in individual medals for the entire region, and highest A-Honor Roll score in our school.

    The District recognized our student, staff and substitute spotlights for the month of February. From Wollam Elementary, 2nd Grader, Bryce Thompson is our elementary spotlight student. There are two secondary spotlight students.  From Santa Fe High School, 12th Grader Ava Martinez and 10th Grader Hayley Spinn. From Barnett Elementary, Kindergarten teacher Sandra Agundez is our spotlight staff member. From Santa Fe High School, Dennis Franklin and from Administration, Marilyn Ott are our substitute spotlight winners. Congratulations to all.

    Proclamations being celebrated during the month of March are: Music In Our Schools Month, National Social Worker’s Month, National Athletic Training Month, Texas Public Schools Week, National School Breakfast Week and Texas Diagnosticians Week.

    Approved the Superintendent as the designee to sign an electrical contract between the time period of February 20, 2023, through June 30, 2024, that provides Santa Fe ISD with the most competitive electrical rate available based on market conditions.
