    BOARD HIGHLIGHTS

     

    RECOGNITIONS

    The District recognized 5th grader Aiden Hanssard from Kubacak as the elementary spotlight student of the month and 12th grader Lauren Gardner from Santa Fe High School as the secondary spotlight student of the month.  Jessina Fraire from Santa Fe Jr. High was recognized as the spotlight staff member of the month and Lisa Boles from RJ Wollam Elementary was the spotlight substitute of the month. 

    The District recognized the Public Relations Department for winning 25 Star Awards at the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) annual conference.

    The District also recognized Whataburger for partnering with us to show appreciation to our staff.  They delivered 800 cinnamon rolls to Cowan for Staff Appreciation.  They came in early to individually box each cinnamon roll.

    Mrs. Davenport announced the proclamations that we will celebrate during the month of April.  National Occupational Therapy Month, National Library Week, Public School Volunteer Week and Administrative Professionals' Day.

    Mr. McKinney recognized bus driver Lawrence Lusignan as the PCAT Driver of the Year Award winner.

    REGULAR AGENDA

    Approved renewal of SFISD Local Innovation Plan under District Of Innovation.

    Approved the revisions to Board Policies BE, CH, and CV as presented in the Board packet.

    Approved the Superintendent as the designee to sign an electrical contract between the time period of March 28, 2022 through June 30, 2022.

    Approved the purchase of window screens for the high school exterior windows.

    Approved the TASB Risk Management Fund Interlocal Agreement as presented and approve Jenny Davenport to replace Patti Hanssard as Program Coordinator.

    Approved the proposed compensation plan for the 2022-2023 school year for all employees and job families as presented.
