Mrs. Davidson is honored to have been chosen as the new Assistant Principal at R.J. Wollam Elementary. She looks forward to building strong relationships with staff members, students, parents and community partners. She is committed to ensuring that each student has a rigorous, engaging and memorable experience at R. J. Wollam. Her three children attend school in SFISD, so she recognizes how significant student achievement is in the early years.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Le Moyne College. However, her education and positive school experiences inspired her to join the teaching profession after earning her Master’s Degree in Childhood Education at SUNY Cortland. After teaching for seven years, she realized her passion for instructional leadership and attended Stephen F. Austin State University’s Principal Preparation Program.
As she enters her 13th year in elementary education at Santa Fe ISD, she feels fortunate that she has had a variety of opportunities to prepare her for this important role. The last two years she has worked closely with teachers and school leaders as an instructional coach. "We truly have such a special school community at R.J. Wollam Elementary and I am so excited to begin serving the campus as the assistant principal".
