STRIVE
Students in Transition Reaching Independence through Vocational Education
STRIVE is a post Santa Fe High School program that utilizes district and community resources to transition adult special needs students, ages 18-22, into independent community living. With the support of staff, the adult students and their families, STRIVE collaborates and develops an individually designed plan to teach and instill what is needed for a successful future in the workplace and community by preparing students according to their specific needs. The goal of STRIVE is to prepare students for employment based on their interests and individual skills, along with teaching them a sense of community and belonging through independence.
