MISSION
The mission of the Special Programs Department is to enhance teaching and learning in the Santa Fe Independent School District learning community through collaboration, training, support and the implementation of innovative strategies that will result in academic excellence for all learners.
GOALS
- Support challenging, grade level academic instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Develop interventions to meet student needs and monitor progress.
- Provide learning tools that address individual learning differences.
- Encourage family engagement.
PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy of the Special Programs Department is to support the District's mission to PREPARE students to ACHIEVE and SUCCEED by providing a continuum of support services to meet the unique instructional, behavioral, and social needs of each student.
