November 26-30 Students will review subject pronouns and regular -er verbs and learn the irregular verbs: avoir, faire, and prendre. Students will learn about the sights of Paris and French cafes. Students will work in groups of three or four to create a French cafe menu with at least five foods and five drinks illustrated and labeled in French and colored and a skit that takes place in a French cafe. Students will review prices in euros and numbers in French to 100 through oral practice and playing a game. See bottom of page for attached handout and grading rubric. November 5-November 16 Students will learn the verbs jouer and faire and vocabulary related to sports and leisure time activities. They will learn vocabulary for seasons and weather and the months of the year. Students will create a poster in French showing what sports and hobbies they participate in throughout the four seasons of the year and present it in class.
