Fair and rodeo kicks off

Toro from the Houston Texans visited Cowan Elementary to talk about exercise and eating right. The students participated in an interactive assembly with the announcer of the Texans, players and cheerleaders as they talked about these different healthy choices.

Books Donated in Memory of
Mrs. Elizabeth Yaws Cowan  The staff of Cowan Elementary donated 3 books to the our library in memory of Elizabeth Cowan. The books we selected reflected her love of music and books in general. Her picture and copies of the covers of the books are displayed in the front hallway of our school.
